Toledo sits on top of one of the most unique watersheds in the Midwest. The same glacial history that created the Black Swamp also gave us water so pure, so soft, it became the foundation of everything we brew. We didn't need to import inspiration — it was right here in the soil and the sediment.

Great Black Swamp Brewing Company started with a simple conviction: that a brewery should taste like where it's from. Not a trend, not a gimmick — just honest beer made with local pride and ingredients that reflect this corner of Ohio.

Today, our taproom on Tedrow Road is a gathering place for neighbors, families, and anyone who believes that great beer doesn't need a big-city address to be world-class.
